Le Corbusier painting in the nude at Eileen Gray’s Villa E-1027

Over the summer my old pal Seán and I visited Enniscorthy for a 1798 Rebellion re-enactment. While there we visited Enniscorthy Castle, which among many fascinating exhibits, has a wonderful Eileen Gray room. Eileen Gray, of course, was from just outside the Co Wexford town. All of this put me in mind of her relationship with Le Corbusier, and my blog/tweet about Ross Wolfe’s piece on Le Corbusier painting in the nude at Eileen Gray’s Villa E-1027, which I reproduce from the now defunct Slimming for the Beach.

ps I hope to do a ‘best of Slimming for the Beach’ here over the coming months – for my own benefit primarily but I hope you enjoy it too.
